Part hallucination and part alien seduction scene in the outer dimensions of space-time. Slimy moshpits, the eternal King Elvis, non-human logics, and interspecies visions await you at the cosmic baby pool, where futures and pasts collide into new mutualities.
Come experience the pleasure of confusion and togetherness.

Saturday 14th Oct, 19:00 -- T.E.N.T (Interplanetary Convent Convention)
13 dancers, musicians, choreographers, artists meet to realize an impossible dream. A temporary home, a new planet where we can finally meet.

Alistair Watts, Asaf Aharonson, Cajsa Godee, Caroline Alexander, Fjóla Gautadóttir, Gretchen Blegen, Imogen Heath, Ivan Ekemark, Layton Lachman, Mara Poliak, Ricardo Saavedra, Samuel Hertz...and more!

What is T.E.N.T. :
T.E.N.T. is a loose mobile structure made to host dreams, desires and basic necessities. Coordinated by Ivan Ekemark, tent is an open dance/art phenomena developing performative work and incoherent methodologies. First performed in Uferstudios Berlin this spring, the works and group is constantly morphing into other figurations. Tent is a way for the collaborators to bring their individual art making into a collective frame, a togetherness through diversity.

Fixity is Overrated

9, 10, 11 October
1:30-3:30pm
with Layton Lachman and Mara Poliak
✸ 20€ for the 3-class series ✸ 10€ drop-in ✸ no one turned away for lack of funds ✸

This class will offer creative and compositional practices that draw from non-human frameworks, real and imagined bodily landscapes, and alternate modes of relation. Long-time collaborators Layton Lachman and Mara Poliak will propose a dynamic temporary ecology for a non-linear and non-logical experience of the moving body. We will propose practical physical and energetic practices to make space for more pleasure, presence, power, multiplicity, specificity. We will research what gets us on the dance floor together and how that togetherness can initiate new possibilities.

Time Travel

Collective practices in stepping outside of the frame -- into the non-linear, non-binary, non-normative -- and still finding ourselves within the world. Sourcing inspiration from Tuning Scores, queer ecology, Amerta Movement, Open Source Forms, Body Weather, and other unnameable threads to find freedom within form and transformation/s of form. Exorcising angst to make space for more pleasure, presence, power, multiplicity, specificity, possibility. We will practice seeing and being seen, leaving room for the unseen and unknown. We will practice being with the porousness and boundaries of our bodies, being with each other and the place that we are in.

"Our gazes have been trained, and untraining them is also a way of finding ourselves riddled with holes, with eyes as holes the world seeps into."
